Two Login Methods

Your credentials can be entered as Xtream Codes API (username + password + server URL) or as an M3U playlist URL. Both are provided with your subscription. The guides below specify which works best for each app.

Amazon Fire TV Stick

The most popular IPTV device in the UK — affordable, portable, and powerful enough for HD and 4K. Supports the best IPTV apps available.

Setup with IPTV Smarters Pro

Enable Unknown Sources

Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → enable Apps from Unknown Sources

Install the Downloader App

Open Amazon App Store → search "Downloader" → install

Install IPTV Smarters Pro

Open Downloader → enter the URL provided by XtremeHD support (or search the Amazon App Store if available in your region)

Open app → select "Login with Xtream Codes API" → enter your username, password, and server URL exactly as provided

Start Watching

Tap Add User → wait for channels to load → navigate to Live TV to browse by category

Setup with Tivimate

Install Tivimate

Open Amazon App Store → search "Tivimate" → install

Add Playlist

Open Tivimate → select "Add playlist" → choose "Xtream Codes"

Enter Credentials

Enter your server URL, username, and password → tap Next

Optimise Settings

Settings → Playback → set buffer size to Medium or Large. Consider upgrading to Tivimate Premium (£5/year) for recording and catch-up

Smart TV

Samsung Smart TV (Tizen OS)

Samsung TVs don't support APK sideloading, so you'll use an app from the Samsung App Store.

Samsung App Store → search "Smart IPTV" → install → open and note the MAC address shown on screen

Upload Playlist

On your phone or computer, go to siptv.app/mylist → enter your TV's MAC address and XtremeHD M3U playlist URL → click Send

Restart & Watch

Restart Smart IPTV on your Samsung TV — channels load automatically. Use the guide button on your remote for EPG

AirPlay Alternative

No IPTV app on Apple TV? Use AirPlay instead — open the IPTV app on your iPhone, start a channel, tap the AirPlay icon to cast to your TV.

Install VLC

Download from videolan.org → install

Open Network Stream

VLC → Media → Open Network Stream (Windows) or File → Open Network (Mac) → paste your M3U playlist URL

Start Watching

Click Play → channel list loads in VLC's playlist panel → double-click any channel

Optimising Your Setup for Best Picture Quality

Use Wired Ethernet

WiFi works for casual viewing, but for live sports and 4K, wired Ethernet eliminates buffering. Fire Sticks support Ethernet via USB adapter (under £15). Smart TVs have a built-in Ethernet port on the back panel.

Adjust Buffer Settings

In Tivimate: Settings → Playback → buffer size → Medium or Large. This pre-loads a few seconds of stream data, smoothing out any brief network interruptions.

Set TV Picture Mode

Use "Movie" or "Cinema" mode — not "Dynamic" or "Vivid" which over-process the image. Disable motion smoothing ("soap opera effect") for the most natural picture.

Enable Hardware Decoding

In your IPTV app settings, ensure hardware decoding (hardware acceleration) is enabled. This uses your device's built-in video processor for smoother playback and lower power consumption.
